Background
Achieving the SDGs and climate targets requires transforming food systems with an annual investment boost of USD 350 billion by 2030. PDBs, providing nearly two-thirds of formal agricultural financing, are uniquely positioned to bridge funding gaps and attract public and private investments. Since 2021, the Agri-PDB Platform, hosted by IFAD and FiCS, has fostered collaboration and knowledge sharing among PDBs, focusing on climate adaptation, sustainable agriculture, and inclusive rural finance.
Why Attend?
This event highlights the catalytic role of PDBs in investing in sustainable agrifood systems and advancing SDGs. Through the Agri-PDB Platform and IFAD’s leadership, National PDBs’ voices are being brought to the global discussion. Attendees will gain insights into best practices and strategies from PDB leaders and partners. Join us in supporting the amplification of PDBs’ input’s to FfD4 debates and advancing sustainable development.
